Guardromon Overview (In-Game Profile)

A Machine Digimon that protects computer network firewalls. Guardromon used to fight off anyone attempting to breach a firewall alongside “Net Keeper” Giromon, until malicious hackers infected it with a virus to make use of its impregnable defensive abilities. These hackers now use Guardromon to protect themselves from a certain Vaccine justice group.

Since Guardromon’s basic programming only involves commands to defend, it has no problem repelling invaders regardless of its new role. It uses its special move, Destruction Grenade, to pursue invaders to the ends of the earth and destroy them.

Guardromon Digivolution

Digivolution is the process that allows your Digimon to grow stronger and unlock new forms. Each Digivolution path has specific requirements, such as reaching a certain level, achieving a minimum stat threshold, or meeting personality and bond conditions.

Some Digimon also require special items or story progression to evolve. Choosing when and how to Digivolve is essential, since certain evolutions may branch into multiple options, giving you flexibility in shaping your partner’s role in battle.

De-Digivolution

In Digimon Story Time Stranger, de-digivolution allows you to return a Digimon to a previous form. Unlike standard digivolution, which requires stat thresholds and level milestones, de-digivolution has its own conditions. To de-digivolve a Digimon, one of the following requirements must be met:

  • Encounter requirement: The Target Digimon must have already been encountered at least once during your playthrough.
  • Personality requirement: The Target Digimon’s base Personality must match the current Digimon’s Personality.

Meeting either condition will unlock the option to de-digivolve, giving you more flexibility in reshaping your team and experimenting with different evolutionary paths.
