Digimon Story Time Stranger Dokugumon Field Guide

Dokugumon Overview (In-Game Profile)
A cursed Digimon in the shape of a spider, whose entire body is infested with a computer virus. Even though a Spider-species type, Dokugumon was originally a gentle and quiet Insectoid Digimon.
One day, however, it was caught in a powerful electromagnetic storm and was infected with a computer virus that had been lurking around the Net. From that moment on, it became one big lump of venom, in other words, a nasty computer virus, corroding everything it touched.
Dokugumon’s eight-legged mobility is worthy of special mention, too. Even if the enemy runs from it at full speed, this Digimon will be right on its heels, pursuing it until it tires itself out. And then, as soon as it stops to take a rest, Dokugumon uses Venom Blast on it, unleashing a dreadful, venomous attack from its fiendish fangs.

Dokugumon Digivolution
Digivolution is the process that allows your Digimon to grow stronger and unlock new forms. Each Digivolution path has specific requirements, such as reaching a certain level, achieving a minimum stat threshold, or meeting personality and bond conditions.
Some Digimon also require special items or story progression to evolve. Choosing when and how to Digivolve is essential, since certain evolutions may branch into multiple options, giving you flexibility in shaping your partner’s role in battle.
De-Digivolution
In Digimon Story Time Stranger, de-digivolution allows you to return a Digimon to a previous form. Unlike standard digivolution, which requires stat thresholds and level milestones, de-digivolution has its own conditions. To de-digivolve a Digimon, one of the following requirements must be met:
- Encounter requirement: The Target Digimon must have already been encountered at least once during your playthrough.
- Personality requirement: The Target Digimon’s base Personality must match the current Digimon’s Personality.
Meeting either condition will unlock the option to de-digivolve, giving you more flexibility in reshaping your team and experimenting with different evolutionary paths.
