Kurisarimon Overview (In-Game Profile)

Kurisarimon is a Champion Digimon that resembles a chrysalis. In order to Digivolve into a more powerful form, the Rookie Keramon temporarily enters a chrysalis state to store up its energy. As a result, it becomes completely unable to move, but its tough outer hide protects it while the tentacles that grow from its back allow it to attack foes.

Keramon can sometimes Digivolve directly into an Ultimate Digimon without going through this Champion phase, but Digivolving into Kurisarimon allows it to reach a more powerful Ultimate form. Its special move Data Crusher involves using the tentacles that extend from its back to destroy an enemy’s composition data.

Kurisarimon Digivolution

Digivolution is the process that allows your Digimon to grow stronger and unlock new forms. Each Digivolution path has specific requirements, such as reaching a certain level, achieving a minimum stat threshold, or meeting personality and bond conditions.

Some Digimon also require special items or story progression to evolve. Choosing when and how to Digivolve is important, since certain evolutions may branch into multiple options, giving you flexibility in shaping your partner’s role in battle.

De-Digivolution

In Digimon Story Time Stranger, de-digivolution allows you to return a Digimon to a previous form. Unlike standard digivolution, which requires stat thresholds and level milestones, de-digivolution has its own conditions. To de-digivolve a Digimon, one of the following requirements must be met:

  • Encounter requirement: The Target Digimon must have already been encountered at least once during your playthrough.
  • Personality requirement: The Target Digimon’s base Personality must match the current Digimon’s Personality.

Meeting either condition will unlock the option to de-digivolve, giving you more flexibility in reshaping your team and experimenting with different evolutionary paths.
