Digimon Story Time Stranger Choromon Guide

Choromon Overview (In-Game Profile)
A super-small Machine Digimon with red eyes that act as photosensors. Choromon’s constant restless movements make it seem very cute, but they’re just because of its simple programming, making it react to bright light.
In dark places, it can’t move at all. For reasons unknown, it discharges electricity from the tip of its tail when it’s in a good mood. It uses its move Jamming Powder to emit metal particles and temporarily confuse its enemy’s AI. It then takes advantage of this temporary confusion to flee.

Choromon Digivolution
Digivolution is the process that allows your Digimon to grow stronger and unlock new forms. Each Digivolution path has specific requirements, such as reaching a certain level, achieving a minimum stat threshold, or meeting personality and bond conditions.
Some Digimon also require special items or story progression to evolve. Choosing when and how to Digivolve is important, since certain evolutions may branch into multiple options, giving you flexibility in shaping your partner’s role in battle.
De-Digivolution
In Digimon Story Time Stranger, de-digivolution allows you to return a Digimon to a previous form. Unlike standard digivolution, which requires stat thresholds and level milestones, de-digivolution has its own conditions. To de-digivolve a Digimon, one of the following requirements must be met:
- Encounter requirement: The Target Digimon must have already been encountered at least once during your playthrough.
- Personality requirement: The Target Digimon’s base Personality must match the current Digimon’s Personality.
Meeting either condition will unlock the option to de-digivolve, giving you more flexibility in reshaping your team and experimenting with different evolutionary paths.
Choromon cannot de-digivolve, as it does not have any previous evolutionary forms.
Digivolution
Digivolution is the process of evolving a Digimon into a stronger form. Each Digimon can evolve along multiple branches depending on its stats, level, and personality. To digivolve a Digimon, you must meet certain requirements.
Choromon can digivolve into the following forms:
Digimon | Requirements |
---|---|
Kapurimon | Agent Rank 1+ and 140 SPI+ |
