How to Start the Price of Freedom Pt 2 Quest
To begin the Price of Freedom Pt 2 side mission in Borderlands 4, speak with Vito at The Double Tap in Carcadia District after completing the Price of Freedom side mission.
How to Complete the Price of Freedom Pt 2 Quest
In order to protect Joe and Sue as they leave the City, you’ll have to undertake a dangerous journey through and around the pipes of the Radioactive Pit.
Reach pipe access with Joe and Sue
After accepting the mission, follow Joe and Sue to a stuck pipe. To open the pipe hatch, you’ll first need to find the capsule, which is across the kratch-infested bridge near the vault symbol.
Once you have it, bring it back across and place it in the receptacle in front of the stuck pipe.
Cross radioactive pit
As soon as Joe and Sue enter the pipe, the door will shut behind them. You’ll need to follow along the outside of the pipe as they press on. You can do this by following the path to the left of the pipe. When you reach the section of pipe with the window, Joe will ask for some help cooling him down. Shoot the five weak spots in the pipe to comply.
Continue to Cross Radioactive Pit
Keep following along the pipe, heading northeast until the pair for help again. There will be some mud blocking their path, so they need you to open an emergency hatch. To reach it, look to the right of the pipe to spot a door you can head through.
Go down the stairs and jump across the gap, then take a left. You’ll drop down to a lower platform, then have to jump across another gap to reach a climbable wall. At the top of that, you’ll find the button to open the hatch.
Reach Pipe Exit
Continue following along the pipe, jumping across a makeshift bridge to the northwest. This will bring you to the pipe exit.
Vito will meet up with the couple to escort them the rest of the way. After some dialogue, the quest will be completed.
