How to Start The Next Quest Thing Quest
To begin The Next Quest Thing side mission in Borderlands 4, speak with the Wayward Soul after completing the Sage Against the Machine side mission.
How to Complete The Next Quest Thing Quest
The Life Coach is gone… or are they? Maybe they’re still with you. Maybe they were with you all along. Maybe they WERE you all along! Maybe… maybe you can convince this weirdo to leave you alone so you can put all this “inner peace” madness behind you.
Teach Wayward Soul balance
After accepting the quest, pick up the trash can lid behind the life coach stand and place it on Wayward Soul’s head. Next, grab the trash can and put it on his head. Return to where the trash can was and pick up the trash bag. Also, place it on his head.
Find Wayward Soul
To find the Wayward Soul, travel all the way down to just north of Cloudbank. Safe him from all the Kratch then speak with the Wayward Soul. Once again, more Kratch will spawn, so take them out, then talk to him again.
Check on Wayward Soul
This time, you’ll need to travel north to just south of the Sainted Cup. Once you arrive, you’ll find him crouched behind a rock. Speak with him then pick up a rock located on the ground behind him. After you get the rock, throw it at him and then speak with him to make him aware!
Upon reaching enlightenment, take the Wayward Soul’s item. Unfortunately, things will quickly take a turn for the worse. Kill all the Rippers, including Wayward Soul! The quest will then complete!
