How to Start the Ripples and Rituals Quest
To begin the Ripples and Rituals side mission in Borderlands 4, use the machine just outside the main entrance to The Tenterhooks in Tonnage Peel. This mission was available during the Shadow of the Mountain main mission.
How to Complete the Ripples and Rituals Quest
Conquer the three challenges and learn the history of Commander Callis’s ascension.
First Challenge
Jump into the corrosive pit and enter the pain until the time runs out. Besides the corrosion, you’ll need to deal with the flying machines that attack. After you’ve survived, take the Greater than Oneself ECHO Log from the machine.
Second Challenge
Travel southwest to the Wreck of the Last Great Hope where you’ll find another machine. Use it then trigger the three ground pads before time runs out. To trigger the pads, you’ll need to slam down on them! After you’ve accomplished this task, take the Get Out ECHO Log.
Confront Chosen Ripper
After completing the second challenge, head to the nearby ripper camp and take out Steve. With him out of the way, grap the No Time for Losers ECHO Log from the machine in the camp. The quest will then complete.
