How to Start the Potty Mouth Quest
To begin the Potty Mouth side mission in Borderlands 4, use the toilet at Embracer’s Bluff in Lopside.
How to Complete the Potty Mouth Quest
GenIVIV is down in the dumps, and she needs your help finding a new synthetic body to host her AI. What do you say, you cutie idiot, will you give her a hand?
Talk to town leader
Next, head inside the building with “King” above the door. Stick to the left side to find a set of stairs. At the top, follow the hallway until you reach the Mayor’s room, where you’ll find him in a tub. Speak with him about the situation.
Talk to GenIVIV
After hearing his side, return to the toilet.
Use Clap Signal
After speaking with GenIVIV, head to the roof of the King and interact with the antenna to summon Claptrap, Batman style!
Talk to Claptrap
When Claptrap arrives, jump down and speak with him in front of the King. He’ll be more than ready to assist! When he asks, flush her. When it’s time to do something else, press the button on the left, then melee Claptrap.
Find new container for GenIVIV
Enter the King and melee the Broomba in the kitchen. After it’s been knocked out, carry it to Claptrap and place it near him. When she asks, melee GenIVIV using a slam down melee attack.
Pick up GenIVIV
Next, you’ll need to pick up the dirty robot maid.
Find Order depot
To find the Order depot, travel northeast to just south of The Deckled Sprawl. You’ll need to enter this facility from the southern side. After arriving, clear out all the enemies, then place GenIVIV in the center of the area.
Search Order depot
Follow Claptrap to the northwest where you’ll find a door.
Head inside and follow the path to yet another door. Open the experimental model closet and take the experimental constructor drone. Return to GenIVIV and place the drone next to her.
Defeat counterattack
When the enemies spawn, eliminate them.
Help GenIVIV kill rippers
Next, travel north to find the ripper camp. When you arrive to the camp at The Deckled Sprawl, take them out.
Put an end to GenIVIV
This should be no surprise to you…eliminate the threat! After you take her out, collect her core.
Reach Moxxi’s bar
Travel to Moxxi’s bar and speak with Moxxi about GenIVIV. You’ll get two options:
- Install GenIVIV into sound system
- Give GenIVIV to erase her forever (probably)
The choice truly does not matter!
Talk to Claptrap
After making your choice, head outside to tell Claptrap the results.
