In the Gone Are My Legs side mission of Borderlands 4, you’ll meet Topper, who’s had his legs stolen by a mischievous creature named Beastie. Your job is to track down the thief, recover Topper’s missing limbs, and then follow them back to their rightful owner. Expect a quirky mix of combat and comedy as you chase Beastie across the wasteland.

How to Start the Gone Are My Legs Quest
To begin the Gone Are My Legs side mission in Borderlands 4, speak with Topper on the porch of the lighthouse at Boglight Vigilance in the Dissected Plateau.
How to Complete the Gone Are My Legs Quest
A nasty Kratch flew off with someone’s legs! Follow the winged beast, retrieve the legs, and return them to their exceedingly cryptic owner!
Climb Lighthouse
Start climbing up the platforms near Topper to reach the roof, where a giant Kratch will steal Topper’s legs.
Follow the Beastie!
Quickly follow after the Kratch! The beastie will take you in a giant circle all the way around the Fortress Indomita to just southwest of the quest giver’s location!
Kill the Beastie
Once the beastie stops, take it out!
Check on leggies
After defeating the beastie, speak with Leggies!
Return Leggies to Topper
Follow Leggies back to Topper, making sure they don’t get into any trouble along the way. After they reunite, the mission will end!
