How to Start the Hangover Helper Quest
Location: The Fadefields – Coastal Bonescape
To begin the Abduction Injunction side mission in Borderlands 4, speak with Iris, who can be found across from the Steel n Deal next to a Checkpoint near Timid Kyle’s Neglected Opening Abandoned Auger Mine, which is northeast of the Abandoned Post safehouse in the Coastal Bonescape of the Fadefields.
How to Complete the Hangover Helper Quest
More Moonshiners, it’s essential to find the right balance of alcohol. Enough to put the shine in your belly, but not enough to stop you from drinking and buying more. Help Ole Shammy get it just right.
Talk to Ole Shammy
For this quest, you will need to find Shammy’s Shack to the east. It will be just southeast of The Stockroom Order Silo. When you arrive, speak with Ole Shammy, and he’ll want your help collecting ingredients.
Travel to the Cliffs
To collect the fruit, make your way northeast into the cliffs.
Grapple up twice to reach the first piece, but beware—a horde of Kratch is guarding it. Take them down, then snatch the fruit with your grapple.
Press onward along the path to encounter the next cluster of Kratch. Defeat them swiftly, then grab the second fruit.
For the third fruit, backtrack southwest and use the grapple point to cross to the other side.
There, a Badass Kratch awaits—take it out, then collect the final two fruits to complete your harvest.
Return to Ole Shammy
With your ingredients collected, return to Ole Shammy. He’ll now want you to place the fruit in the stomping tub across from him.
Afterward, stomp down on it following the instructions from the tutorial.
Find Geyser
Next, travel east to just before the Waterstop Point of Interest. There, you’ll find a barely spewing geyser in front of a building.
To get the juices flowing, climb to the top of this building then slam down onto the geyser. Be sure to grab one of the RED geyser nuggets that are flying up into the sky and return to the stomping tub. Place it in then await your next task!
Gather Mangler Scent Glands
For this task, you must gather nine Mangler Scent Glands. Follow the objective northwest to a pack of Manglers. Keep eliminating them until you have retrieved enough of their scent glands. Once you do, return to Sammy’s and place them in the tub.
De-Spike Beer Supply
It’s time to party!! Travel southeast to where the party’s at! When you arrive, look for the beer water tower. Use the grapple point on the building next to this tower to reach the roof. Once on the roof, look down and grapple to retrieve the fruit that you dropped. With the concoction in hand, jump to the beer tower and land at the top of the barrel. From there, deposit the fruit in the batch.
Next, you’ll need to gather the partygoers by interacting with the mic on the stage. Once they’ve gathered close to the tower, shoot the keg’s spout.
When the partiers have sobered up, they’ll turn hostile, and you’ll need to eliminate all of them. Once you do, Sammy will thank you, and the quest will complete.
