How to Start the Good-Sized Horse Quest
To begin the Good-Sized Horse side quest in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, speak with Zyle in the Gerudo Canyon.

How to Complete the Good-Sized Horse Quest
You ran into a traveler named Zyle on a road in the Gerudo region – he’s in trouble after losing his horse on his journey. He says he’ll give you 300 rupees if you bring him a horse… but it has to be appropriately sized for Zyle’s body frame.
Find a Good-Sized Horse
For this quest, your goal is to help Zyle find a “regular” horse. If you already have a standard horse registered at a stable, you can bring that one to him. Otherwise, set out into the wild and search the Hyrule countryside for a suitable horse.
Be careful—Zyle will not accept a Stalhorse or the Giant Horse, so make sure the horse you tame is of typical size.
We found some horses along the main road between Aquame Lake and Lake Kolomo in the southwestern part of Hyrule Field.

Approach quietly, mount carefully, and calm one as needed to successfully tame your new companion.
Deliver the Horse to Zyle
Once you’ve secured a suitable horse, escort it back to Zyle. Delivering the horse completes the quest, and he will reward you for your efforts with 300 rupees. With the task finished, you’ll have the satisfaction of helping out a fellow horse enthusiast—and earning a useful reward in return.
