How to Start the Balloon Flight Quest
To begin the Balloon Flight side quest in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, speak with Shamae at Woodland Stable in the Great Hyrule region just west of Pico Pond.
How to Complete the Balloon Flight Quest
You promised Shamae, the kid from the Woodland Stable, that you’d show her a sky filled with balloons. The first step is to find things that serve as balloons, and use them to lift the barrels to delight Shamae.
Find a Balloon
First, head to the nearby Pico Pond to find the enemies that shoot out projectiles.
Shoot these enemies to acquire an Octo Balloon. Once you have the balloon, attach it to one of the barrels near Shamae, causing it to float. As a reward for completing her task, Shamae will give you a Star Fragment, which is a mysterious stone fragment that fell from the sky. It sells for a high price, or you can use it as an ingredient in certain recipes.
