How to Start the Luminous Stone Gathering Quest

To begin the Luminous Stone Gathering side quest in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, speak with Ledo in Zora’s Domain.

How to Complete the Luminous Stone Gathering Quest
Ledo asked you to bring him ten luminous stones to help rebuild Zora’s Domain. Apparently, there’s a place in Upland Zorana where they’re pretty common.
Find Ten Luminous Stones
If you have ten Luminous Stones on you, just give them to Ledo to complete the quest.
Otherwise, wait until night then travel just northwest of Zora’s Domain to find Upland Zorana.

Once there, you’ll spot the glowing ore deposits.

To obtain the Luminous Stones from these ore deposits, use a bomb to blow them up or smash them with a Stone Smasher weapon. Watch where the ore falls, then collect it. Search the mountain until you find a total of ten Luminous Stones.
We also found a lot of Luminous Stones south of Ralis Pond in the mountains near the main road, just east of the Bank of Wishes.

Deliver the Ten Luminous Stones to Ledo
After you have collected all ten Luminous Stones, travel back to Zora’s Domain and hand them over to Ledo. As a reward for completing his task, you will receive two Diamonds, which you can sell for a very high price or use when crafting. From now on, you will be able to trade him ten Luminous Stones for ONE Diamond!
