How to Start The Stolen Heirloom Shrine Quest
To begin The Stolen Heirloom shrine side quest in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, you’ll first need to complete the following quests around Kakariko Village:
Once you’ve done all of those, approach Impa’s house to see that the guards are on high alert. Enter her house and speak with Paya, who will inform Lunk that the Sheikah Heirloom has been stolen.

Completing the Stolen Heirloom
Track Down the Thief
Wait until night then watch for Lasli to exit the armor shop then sneakily follow her as she exits the village. Periodically she’ll stop, so make sure you are hidden when she does.

Eventually, she will stop amongst a grouping of rocks. Approach and speak with her about the heirloom.

Next, you’ll need to speak with Mellie in the shack behind the carrot garden.

After speaking with the two ladies, head up the path towards the shrine. Pass the shrine and follow the path to the right just after the wooden arch.

Eventually, you’ll come to a wooden bridge.

Cross the bridge to trigger a cutscene with Dorian.

Afterwards, you’ll need to fight a Yiga Blademaster. Once the Yiga has been defeated, Dorian will reveal the truth about himself.
Restore the Heirloom to its Pedestal
Pick up the heirloom from Dorian’s feet and drop it in the nearby orange pedestal.

Doing so will reveal a hidden shrine called Lakna Rokee Shrine!
Return to Paya
After completing the shrine, return to Paya for some more dialogue.
