A Rare Find Side Quest Walkthrough
How to Start A Rare Find
To begin the A Rare Find side quest, travel to the Outskirt Stable, located southwest of Hyrule Field, just north of the Great Plateau. There you’ll find Trott inside the stable, who has a hankering for some fresh-caught gourmet meat. After speaking with Link, he’ll ask the hero to catch him something that he can feast on!
Trott is only available during the day at Outskirt Stable.
A Rare Find Quest Guide
Catch Some Gourmet Meat
Raw Gourmet Meat is a prized cut of meat that can usually be obtained from a large animal. Listed below are a couple of animals that can drop the Raw Gourmet Meat, along with where they can be found.
- Great-Horned Rhino / Tabantha Moose – Tabantha Tundra (Hebra)
- Honeyvore Bear – Hickaly Woods southeast of Big Twin Bridge (Necluda)
Deliver the gourmet Meat
Once you’ve obtained a piece of Raw Gourmet Meat, return to Trott and speak with him to hand over the meat. He’ll give Link 100 rupees in exchange, which will complete the A Rare Find side quest. From this point on, you can trade Trott three Raw Gourmet Meats a day in exchange for 100 rupees each.
