How to Start EX Teleportation Rumors
To begin the EX Teleportation Rumors quest in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, head to the South Akkala Stable, which can be found at the southwestern tip of the Akkala Highlands. Inside, examine the book on the table, Super Rumor Mill EX: Volume 2, which provides the first clue about the location of the mysterious tool:
“The treasure chest containing this item is supposedly located in northeast Akkala, hidden beneath a labyrinth.“

Finding the Travel Medallion
First, you must complete the Trial of the Labyrinth and unlock the Tu Ka’loh Shrine. After you’ve gathered your reward from the shrine, jump down into the wind tunnel to reach a guardian graveyard.
Be warned that there are a few Guardians that will become active if you grab the chest in the middle of the room! If this is your first time down here, open the middle chest last!
Make your way to the very back of the giant room along the wall to find the EX Chest. Open it to receive the Travel Medallion tool. This mysterious tool was made using forgotten ancient technology. To do this, open your pouch and register your current location as a travel gate.
