Find Misko’s EX Journal 2 in the Deya Village Ruins
To find the location of the Merchant Hood, you’ll need to travel to the Deya Village Ruins in search of Misko’s EX Journal 2, which has the information we seek. You can find the ruins on the northwest side of Lake Hylia. If you happen to have the Dueling Peaks Tower unlocked, you can fast travel there and glide down, heading southwest.

When you arrive at the village ruins, look for the remnants of a house along the shoreline. Make your way inside and look at the leaning section of the wall to spot the journal resting on some debris.

Interact with it and flip through all of the pages to receive a clue about the armor. It is listed below:
“The traveling merchant’s hood is in the right hand of the dragon that consumes the Spring of Courage at Dracozu Lake.“
This will provide a hint as to where you can find the chest containing the Merchant Hood, aka Ravio’s Hood.
Find the Merchant Hood in the Spring of Courage

To locate the Merchant Hood, make your way to the Spring of Courage, which sits in the Faron region. The easiest route is to travel east of Lake Hylia and follow the path leading into the Dracozu River area. You’ll find the spring hidden deep within the jungle, guarded by enemies like Lizalfos.

At the Spring of Courage, head toward the giant lizard-like structure with a Goddess statue inside. To the left of this structure, you’ll spot a massive hand. Work your way to the ledge under the fingers and use Magnesis to pull the EX chest from the ground. Open it to claim Ravio’s Hood.

This completes the quest and adds the Merchant Hood to your armor collection.
