Breath of the Wild Climber’s Armor Set Guide
How to get the Climber’s Armor Set
Each piece of the Climber’s Set is found in a shrine chest, so be prepared for some puzzles and exploration!
Climber’s Bandana
- Location: Ree Dahee Shrine in the Dueling Peaks Region
- Shrine Puzzle Type: Tilting platforms and timing
You can find the Ree Dahee Shrine by following the path leading between the Dueling Peaks. When coming from the west, head towards the Big Twin Bridge (near the Dueling Peaks Stable), which will be on the north side of the Squabble River, a ledge overlooking the river.

In the shrine, you’ll find the chest with the bandana on a small platform near the final tilting platform of the trial. You’ll need to step on the switch to cause the tilting platform to tilt. You’ll then need to use the Stasis power on the switch to hold it in place while you ride the moving platform to the other side and climb up the stuck tilted platform to reach the chest. You’ll need to be quick and do this before the time runs out on Stasis.

Climber’s Gear
- Location: Chaas Qeta Shrine on Tenoko Island
- Shrine Puzzle Type: Combat Trial (Major Test of Strength)
The chest piece of the Climber’s Set can be looted from a chest in the Chaas Qeta Shrine, on a tiny island in the Necluda Sea at the eastern side of the world.

The easiest way to reach it would be to head for the Muwo Jeem Shrine on a clifftop overlooking Tenoko Island. From there, you can easily glide down to the Chaas Qeta Shrine. You will need about 1.5 circles of stamina to reach it.

After you land on the island, head into the shrine where you’ll need to complete a Major Trial of Strength, where you’ll need to defeat the shrine guardian to collect the chest with the Climber’s Gear. This is one of the more brutal Guardian fights, so make sure you are prepared. We used Ice Arrows to freeze it in place, then ran up and hit it with our strongest weapon. We repeated this process until it was destroyed.

Climber’s Boots
- Location: Tahno O’ah Shrine, north of Hateno Village
- Shrine Puzzle Type: Straightforward puzzle
To reach the Tahno O’ah Shrine, you’ll need to complete the Secret of the Cedars Shrine quest.

After finding the shrine, you’ll just need to head inside to claim the chest with the Climber’s Boots.
