How to Start the Priceless Maracas Side Quest
To start the Priceless Maracas side quest in the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, you’ll want to travel to Dueling Peaks Stable on the east side of West Neclunda. From there, follow the road heading north towards Kakariko Village. Shortly after crossing a bridge, the path will take you up a hill where you’ll spot the large Korok, Hestu. Speak with him to learn that some monsters took his beloved maracas.

The Priceless Maracas Side Quest Guide
Retrieve the Priceless Maracas
Locate the Maracas
Continue heading up the hill past Hestu, and when the path starts to curve to the left, look to the right. You’ll spot an opening in some rocks that you can head through.

Do so to find a group of Bokoblins guarding a treasure chest. Defeat all of them to unlock the chest, allowing you to loot Hestu’s Maracas.

Return the Maracas
Head back to Hestu and speak with the Korok to hand over his maracas. After a quick examination, he’ll notice that the Korok seeds from inside them are missing, preventing him from doing his little dance. The big guy will then explain to Link that he has the power of inventory expansion! This means that if you give him the required amount of Korok seeds, Hestu will put on a show to increase the amount of weapons, shields, or bows you can stash by one each time.
Find Some Korok Seeds
Bring Hestu a Korok Seed
By this point, you probably have at least one Korok seed that you can hand over to Hestu. If you don’t, continue up the path to find some metal blocks on a cliff wall along the left side of the path (across from a tree).

You’ll need to use your Magnesis skill to move the metal square from the rock to the three squares on the wall to complete the puzzle. This will reward you with a seed.

When you have a Korok seed, return to Hestu and hand it over, who will treat you to a bit of dance, and increase your chosen stash size by one. You’ll need to do this two times to complete the quest. After the second time, he’ll say that he must be off and that you can find him in the Korok Forest if you want to enhance your stash further.
