How to Start The Hunter’s Story Questline
To begin The Hunter’s Story questline in Fantasy Life i, select the Hunter Life License in Eternia Village’s Guild Office.
Next, speak with Arche in the Hunter’s Guild on the southwestern side of Eternia Village to become a Novice.
Hunter Life Challenges
Novice Challenges
Connected with the Forest
First, head to Eternia Village via the west gate to trigger an event. Next, travel to the beach south of Eternia Village.
Once there, approach the kids. The fun will quickly turn into a battle. Defeat the Tropic Toad.
Next, you’ll be tasked with finding the Bigbee in the capital. Once in the capital, head east and approach the objective to begin the battle against the Bigbee.
Defeat it then give the honey to Farah, who can be found near the fountain in the town square.
As a reward, you’ll receive 500 Dosh. Afterward, report back to Arche to complete the challenge. You’ll then rank up to Fledgling!
Fledgling Challenges
Baa, Baa, Black Sheep
For the Baa, Baa, Black Sheep life challenge, you’ll need to defeat 6 Black Woolies as a Hunter. You can find these monsters west of the Capital of Mysteria.
As a reward, you’ll receive 100 Stars.
Corny Collector
For the Corny Collector life challenge, you’ll need to defeat 6 Corny east of the Capital of Mysteria as a Hunter.
As a reward, you’ll receive 100 Stars.
I Want Wool
For the I Want Wool life challenge, you’ll need to defeat 6 White Woolies as a Hunter. You can find these monsters west of the Capital of Mysteria.
As a reward, you’ll receive 100 Stars.
Lizard Hunt
For the Lizard Hunt life challenge, you’ll need to defeat 6 Tunoco Lizards as a Hunter. These monster can be found southwest of the Capital of Mysteria.
As a reward, you’ll receive 100 Stars.
Master corny Collector
For the Master Corny Collector life challenge, you’ll need to defeat 2 Cornellas as a Hunter. These monsters can be found by the pond at the top of a waterfall west of the Capital of Mysteria.
As a reward, you’ll receive 300 Stars.
Mister Sandman
For the Mister Sandman life challenge, you’ll need to use the Sleep Arrow I skill on 50 enemies. Use this skill at night to hit multiple enemies at once while they are sleeping! As a reward, you’ll receive 50 Stars.
Ouch! Bees Sting!
For the Ouch! Bees Sting! life challenge, you’ll need to defeat 6 Worker Bees on the east side of the Capital of Mysteria as a Hunter.
As a reward, you’ll receive 100 Stars.
Prairie Rabbits
For the Prairie Rabbits life challenge, you’ll need to defeat 6 Hearhares east of the Capital of Mysteria as a Hunter.
As a reward, you’ll receive 100 Stars.
Apprentice Challenges
Arrow in the Grass
For this life challenge, you’ll need to defeat 8 Weedlings as a Hunter. These monsters can be found in Lulab Forest during the day.
Enter the forest from the Valley of Spirits to find a group of them in the first area. If you head north through the log then head east, you will reach another group. As a reward, you’ll receive 250 Stars.
Carrotella Hunt
For this life challenge, you’ll need to defeat 3 Carrotella as a Hunter. These monsters can be found in Lulab Forest.
As a reward, you’ll receive 350 Stars.
Chicken Collector
For this life challenge, you’ll need to defeat 8 Razorbeaks as a Hunter. These monsters can be found in Lulab Forest during the night.
To find them, enter the forest from the Valley of Spirits, then head west. When you reach the Recluse Cherry Tree, head north to find a group of three. As a reward, you’ll receive 250 Stars.
Keeping the Roads Safe
For this life challenge, you’ll need to defeat 3 Forest Panthers as a Hunter. These monsters can be found in Lulab Forest during the night.
As a reward, you’ll receive 350 Stars.
Master of Poisons
For this life challenge, you’ll need to use Poison Arrow I 100 times as a Hunter. As a reward, you’ll receive 150 Stars.
Ouch! Peach Bees Sting!
For this life challenge, you’ll need to defeat 8 Peach Bees as a Hunter. These monsters can be found in Lulab Forest on Faraway Island during the day.
Additionally, you can find some on the east side of Idylla Village near the entrance to Lulab Forest. As a reward, you’ll receive 250 Stars.
Pierce the Storm
For this life challenge, you’ll need to defeat 1 Tunoco Quetzal as a Hunter. This monster can be found northwest of the Capital of Mysteria.
As a reward, you’ll receive 500 Stars.
Serpent Hunt
For this life challenge, you’ll need to defeat 8 Grass Serpents as a Hunter. These monsters can be found in Lulab Forest. Enter Lulab Forest from Idylla Village to find two in the first area of the forest.
Additionally, you’ll find some near the map transition to the center of the forest by the Old Man.
As a reward, you’ll receive 250 Stars.
Snake Exterminator
For this life challenge, you’ll need to defeat 8 Bloom Serpents as a Hunter. These monsters can be found in Lulab Forest on Faraway Island.
As a reward, you’ll receive 250 Stars.
Adept Challenges
A Tingling Sensation
For this life challenge, you’ll need to use Paralyzing Arrow I 100 times as a Hunter. As a reward, you’ll receive 250 Stars.
Beetle Hunt
For this life challenge, you’ll need to defeat 10 Star Beetle Ballers as a Hunter. You can find these monsters in Da Finci Cave. As a reward, you’ll receive 350 Stars.
Black Paw
For this life challenge, you’ll need to defeat 3 Black Panther as a Hunter. You can find these monsters in Yohoho Cavern. As a reward, you’ll receive 500 Stars.
Chilled Veggies
For this life challenge, you’ll need to defeat 10 Frosty Radishy as a Hunter. You can find these monsters in Yohoho Cavern. As a reward, you’ll receive 350 Stars.
Frigid Hunt
For this life challenge, you’ll need to defeat 10 Snow Beetle Ballers as a Hunter. You can find these monsters in Yohoho Cavern. As a reward, you’ll receive 350 Stars.
Frozen Veggies
For this life challenge, you’ll need to defeat 3 Frosty Radishella as a Hunter. You can find these monsters in Yohoho Cavern. As a reward, you’ll receive 500 Stars.
Lizards of the Shore
For this life challenge, you’ll need to defeat 10 Sandzards as a Hunter. You can find these monsters in the Tropica Isles. As a reward, you’ll receive 350 Stars.
Pierce the Stars
For this life challenge, you’ll need to defeat 10 Stelleroids as a Hunter. You can find these monsters in the Tropica Isles. As a reward, you’ll receive 350 Stars.
Search for the Golden Fleece
For this life challenge, you’ll need to defeat 1 Goldmeer as a Hunter. You can find this monster in Lulab Forest on Faraway Island. As a reward, you’ll receive 700 Stars.
Shadows on the Shore
For this life challenge, you’ll need to defeat 10 Umbral Runners as a Hunter. You can find these monsters in Da Finci Cave. As a reward, you’ll receive 350 Stars.
