How to Start the Azani Blackheart Quest
To begin the Azani Blackheart quest in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, speak with Modryn after completing the More Unfinished Business quest.

Meet Modryn After Dark
After dark, travel to Modryn’s house and speak with him to learn what he wants. During the conversation, tell him that you’re in!
Investigate Arpenia
Travel to the Leyawiin Fighters Guild and speak with Oreyn to get him to follow you. Next, travel northeast of Leyawiin to Arpenia and head inside.
Follow the hallway to reach a room then keep following the next hallway to reach another large room.
In this room with a chest, head to the far east side, avoiding the trap in the middle.
Once there, speak with Modryn.
Follow Modryn
Next, follow Modryn out of the ruins and all the way to Atatar.
Once inside, follow the linear path to reach the “Stone Door to Atatar Haelia Dagon”. In this large room, head to the southwestern side to find a gate that you need to raise by pressing the switch on the wall.
To cross the bridge, wait for the guillotines to come down, then hop over them. At the end of the bridge, activate the “Stone Door to Atatar Haelia Anga.
Head across the bridge and press the block on the left to lower the gate.
Head to the back of the room on the left and take the stairs up to reach the exit to Atatar Loria.
In here, you’ll find Azani Blackheart! Take him out then loot Blackheart’s Ring and Sinweaver (his sword).
Speak with Modryn
After you’ve looted Blackheart, speak with Modryn and hand over Blackheart’s Ring. The quest will then end.
