The Crimson Cave Walkthrough
Travel to the Mingo Cave
Travel to the Mingo Cave, which is south of the Imperial City.

Once you’ve equipped the Mythic Dawn Hood and Mythic Dawn Robe, head inside and approach Mehrunes’ Harbinger. She’ll want you to light a fire in the pyre under the prisoner.
Light the Pyre or Kill the Cultists
For this objective, you actually have a choice. You can either activate the pyre underneath the prisoner’s cage and burn him to death or kill the cultists in the room (except for Mehrunes’ Harbinger as you can’t kill her). Afterward, speak with Mehrunes’ Harbinger and she’ll be happy no matter your decision. As a reward, you’ll learn the Summon Mehrunes’ Harbinger.
Summon Mehrunes’ Harbinger
Use the new spell you just learned to summon the Harbinger. Speak with her about equipment and acquire whichever armor and weapons you’d like! This will end the quest, however, she’ll mention that you should speak with Snak gra-Bura at the Chestnut Handy Stables for armor.
Speak with Snak Gra-Bura

Travel to the Chestnut Handy Stables, which is on the west side of the Imperial City, and speak with Snak gra-Bura. Ask her “You got anything useful for me?”. This will begin the Horse Armor quest.
If you threaten her or tell her that you’ll take any horse, she’ll outfit her old nag horse with steel armor and give it to you free of charge. Alternatively, if you bring her your horse, you’ll get to choose between Cataclysm, Elven, Order or Steel armor for your horse.
