How to Start the Confront the King Quest
To begin the Confront the King quest in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, speak with Hannibal Traven about a “Task” after completing the Ambush quest.
Confront the King Walkthrough
Loot Hannibal
After Hannibal dies, loot his body for a bunch of goodies.
Confront the King of Worms
Travel to Echo Cave, which is west of Bruma.
Once there, you’ll be greeted by Bolor Savel outside. Take him out then loot the Echo Cave Key from his corpse!
Now that you have the key, head inside and follow the linear path to the “Wood Door to Echo Passages”.
Again, follow the linear path until you reach the “Wood Door to Echo Necromancer’s Chamber”.
Follow it to the end to find Mannimarco and speak with him.
After your conversation, defeat him!
Announce your Success
Exit the cave and return to the Arcane University. Once there, speak with Raminus. The quest will then complete!
