How to Start the Information at a Price Quest
To begin the Information at a Price quest in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, speak with Raminus Polus about advancement after completing the Liberation or Apprehension quest. You’ll then need to speak with Hannibal Traven about your next task.
Information at a Price Walkthrough
Speak with Hal-Liurz
Travel to Castle Skingrad and speak with Hal-Liurz who will then ask you to wait for the Count. Wait just a bit then Janus Hassildor will approach you. Speak with him about the information to learn that he requires a favor.
Clear out Bloodcrust Cavern
Travel to Bloodcrust Cavern just outside of Skingrad on the southeastern side of town. Once there, head inside and clear out the vampires as you make your way through this circular cave.
Make sure to loot the Vampire Dust from your fallen victims.
Remove the Vampire Hunters
In Skingrad, speak with Eridor using the following dialog options:
- [Lie] Yes, that’s right.
- I have information for you.
- They’re already dead.
- Yes, here’s some Vampire Dust.
Since you proved that they are no longer needed, Eridor will say that they will leave.
Report the Success of Your Task
With your tasks complete, return to Hal-Liurz and speak with her. She’ll then go to tell the Count. Wait until she returns then speak with the Count when he arrives.
Deliver the News
Now that you’ve heard the Count’s news about Mannimarco, return to Hannibal Traven to tell him. The quest will then complete. The next quest in the Mages questline is A Plot Revealed.
