How to Start the Necromancer’s Moon Quest
To begin the Necromancer’s Moon quest in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, speak with Raminus Polus after completing the Vahtacen’s Secret quest.
Necromancer’s Moon Walkthrough
Speak with Tar-Meena
Make your way over to the Mystic Archives in the Arcane University and speak with Tar-Meena.
Gather Information About the Necromancers
Next to the entrance, you’ll find a desk. Behind it against the wall, take the Necromancer’s Moon book from the table.
Since you’ve found the book, speak with Tar-Meena about it then return to Raminus Polus.
Speak with Bothiel
Speak with Bothiel about the Shade of the Revenant. We found her in the lobby of the Archane University.
Read the Hastily Scrawled Note
Open your inventory and read the Hastily Scrawled Note.
Next, show it to Raminus.
Find the Dark Fissure
Travel southeast of Cheydinhal to reach the Dark Fissure. To glean information on the ritual, you have two options:
1. Take your chances that the night you arrive is the night the moon aligns for the ritual. For us, it was on the 1st.
2. Head inside the Dark Fissure and kill the Worm Anchorite. Loot his body for the Handwritten Note.
Deliver the Information
Return to Raminus Polus to report on what you’ve learned.
