Starting the Lost Gestral Kids Quest
To start this quest, you’ll just need to find one of the Lost Gestral kids. You’ll probably come across the first one just outside Esquie’s Nest on the Continent. He’ll mention that he’s looking for Sastro. Gustave will then offer to let the kid stay at camp until Satro is located!
Sastro will eventually show up at the camp in the area where the Lost Gestral kids are gathering. This happened to us after we had completed the story section at the Gestral Village. Speak with him, and he’ll mention that ten of the kids he was watching are missing, leaving it up to you to find the rest.
The Lost Gestral Kids Guide
This guide is a work in progress and will be updated as we progress in the game! Currently, we have three of the ten Lost Gestrals in this guide.
As Sastro stated, there are a total of ten lost Gestral kids located in various parts of the Continent that you’ll need to discover. To find them all, you’ll need to find Esquie’s missing stones, which will allow you to reach different sections of the continent.
Esquie’s Nest
The first Lost Gestral you’ll probably find is located just outside of Esquie’s Nest. Speak with him about inviting the Gestral back to camp.
Monoco’s Station
This Lost Getral can be found next to some trees just before the snow section of the Continent, leading to Monoco’s Station.
Stone Wave Cliffs
You can find Stone Wave Cliffs Lost Gestral along a side path off the main path leading to the cliffs on the right. It is in a little nook near the ocean between some rocks and crates.
White Tree
The lost Gestral can be found on the same land mass as the White Tree area, west of the Yellow Harvest. To reach the island, you’ll need to recruit Esquie to the group and find his first missing stone to unlock the swimming ability. This will allow you to swim to the island.
Once you’ve reached the island, head to the south-central part to find the Gestral chilling next to some rocks.
Rewards
After you find a Lost Gestral kid, return to Sastro at the camp and speak with him. He’ll give you a reward for each child you send back to the camp. Those rewards are listed below in the order we receive them.
- Maelle – Gestral Hairstyle
- Lune – Gestral Hairstyle
- Sciel – Gestral Hairstyle
- Ability to Paint Break (destroy Paint Spikes blocking your path)
