How to Start the Leyawiin Recommendation Quest
To begin the Leyawiin Recommendation quest in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, speak with Dagail in Leyawiin Mages Guild.

Learn About the Amulet
Speak with Agata in Leyawiin Mages Guild about the “Recommendation” and “Seer’s Stone”. Afterward, speak with Alves, S’drassa, and Kalthar about the Seer’s Stone.
Return to Agata and speak with her about Kalthar. Next, speak with Dagail again.
Find the Fort
Next, you’ll need to find the fort near Leyawiin where Dagail’s father was stationed. This fort, Fort Blueblood, can be found southeast of Leyawiin.
Find Dagail’s Father
After arriving at the fort, head inside. Take a left then follow the path, taking a right. Defeat the enemies in this next open room, then hug the left side to find another path through an old wooden door (this door was already open for us!).
When you emerge in the next room, take a left and follow the path to the “Old Wooden Door to Fort Blueblood Halls”.
Continue following the linear path, passing through an Old Wooden Door, to reach a group of Marauders with a Marauder Warlord. Eliminate the Warlord then loot the Fort Blueblood Key from his corpse. Use this key on the south side of the room to open an Old Wooden Door.
Follow the path to the end to find Manduin’s Coffin and loot it! Make sure to grab Manduin’s Amulet.
Deliver Amulet
Now that you have the amulet, start exiting the cave to be stopped by Kalthar who wants the amulet right now. Unfortunately, he won’t take no for an answer and you’ll be forced to defend yourself.
After you defeat him, be sure to loot his body for Kalthar’s Key then exit this room using it to open the wooden doors. Take an immediate left to find a shortcut leading you out of the cave. Return to Dagail to deliver the amulet and tell her about Kalthar.
When you’re finished speaking with her, the Leyawiin Recommendation quest will end.
