How to Start the Tears of the Savior Quest
To begin the Tears of the Savior quest in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, speak with S’drassa in Leyawiin Mage Guard.
Tears of the Savior Walkthrough
Find Garridan’s Tears
To find where Garridan’s Tears may be located, speak with Julienne Fanis at the Arcane University in the Imperial City. She’ll refer you to a book called “Knightfall”.
Acquire Knightfall
Make your way over to the First Edition bookshop in the Market District near the door to the Green Emperor Way. Inside, speak with Phintias and barter with him to acquire the Knightfall book.
Once you’ve gotten the book, read it to learn the location and that you’ll need special refined frost salts.
Speak with Julienne Fanis
To inquire about the special refined frost salts, speak with Julienne in the lobby of the Arcane University to learn that she has some for sale. Purchase all 5 Refined Frost Salts from her for 74 gold (or haggle the price down).
Travel to Frostfire Glade
Travel north of the Imperial City to find the Frostfire Glade. Once there, enter the cave and follow the linear path to reach the entrance to Frostfire Glade.
Find Garridan’s Tears
Inside the glade, head to the center of the area, crossing the fallen log to reach Garridan, who is locked in an eternal frozen struggle with a huge Frost Atronach.
After finding the struggle, you’ll then need to collect all five of Garridan’s Tears.
Garridan’s Tear #1
On the south side of the frozen battle, you’ll find Garridan’s Tear. Take it!
Garridan’s Tear #2
You’ll find another of Garridan’s Tears on the ground near the base of the rock containing the frozen battle on the southeastern side.
Garridan’s Tear #3
This tear can be found at the base of the rock containing the frozen battle on the southwestern side.
Garridan’s Tear #4
This Garridan’s Tears can be found on the northwestern side of the central rock.
Garridan’s Tear #5
The fifth and final of Garridan’s Tears can be found under the log leading to the frozen battle.
Return to S’drassa
Travel all the way back to S’drassa in Leyawiin. As a reward, S’Drassa will give you 1,600 gold and the quest will end..
