How to Start the Priory of the Nine Quest
The Priory of the Nine quest in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered will automatically trigger during The Shrine of the Crusader quest when you find the skeleton of Sir Amiel.
Priory of the Nine Walkthrough
Find the Cuirass of the Crusader
After finding the Helm of the Crusader, it’s time to find the Cuirass! Travel to the Priory of the Nine, which is southeast of Skingrad. When you arrive, enter the house.
Activate the Knights of the Nine Symbol on the ground to the left of the front door. Sir Amiel’s ring will fit perfectly into the diamond-shaped opening in the floor.
In the basement, enter the “Door to Priory Undercroft”. Head straight ahead to trigger Sir Amiel to appear along with the other knights. You’ll then fight each of the eight knights one at a time. The fights will be back-to-back, but you’ll have time to heal/repair weapons in between if you’re fast enough.
After you’ve emerged victorious, head behind Sir Amiel and grab the Cuirass of the Crusader.
Speak with the Knights
Next, speak with all the knights to get a bunch of quests. We highly recommend completing them in the following order:
Return to the Priory of the Nine
After you’ve collected all of the relics, return to the Priory of the Nine. Lathon will speak with you. After hearing his tale, make him a knight! The Priory of the Nine quest will then end and The Faithful Squire will begin!
