How to Start The Shrine of the Crusader Quest
The Shrine of the Crusader quest in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered will automatically begin after completing the Pilgrimage.
The Shrine of the Crusader Walkthrough
Find the Helm of the Crusader
Travel to the southeastern side of Lake Rumare near the bridge crossing over The Upper Niben River.
Dive under the water and enter the Stone Door to Vanua. Please note this area is underwater, so make sure to have underwater breathing equipment/spells.
Once inside, head straight ahead until you reach the dead end. On the left, you’ll spot a block on the wall.
Press it to reveal a new path. Keep following the path, passing a tomb and going through a broken section in the wall.
At the end of this tunnel, enter the “Wood Door to The Shrine of the Crusader”. Stick to the right side to find a corridor with a broken section of wall.
Hop on up to proceed forward. When you drop down, loot the skeleton of Sir Amiel in the center of the room.
This will start the Priory of the Nine quest. Loot Sir Amiel’s Key, Ring, and Journal from his body. Open the gate on the south side of the room to create a shortcut then proceed through the western gate. In this room, squeeze through the broken wall then follow the path.
Enter the “Door to The Lost Catacombs”. Hug the right side of the area to find another broken chunk of wall that you can squeeze through to proceed forward. Once you emerge, head straight ahead to find a wooden door and take it to The Shrine of the Crusader. Head straight ahead and slip through the narrow window on the left.
Next to the blue fire brazier, you’ll spot a helmet. Grab it!
Hop down over the rail and take the shortcut on the south side of the room that you previously opened.
Leave this area! The Shrine of the Crusader quest will end, and you’ll continue on with the Priory of the Nine.
