How to Start the Next of Kin Quest
After completing the Affairs of the Wizard Dark Brotherhood quest, you’ll automatically begin the Next of Kin quest in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered.
Next of Kin Quest Walkthrough
The contract requires you to kill every member of the Draconis family, including Perennia, Matthias, Andreas, Sibylla, and Caelia.
Learn the Location of the Targets
To fulfill this contract, we’ll need to learn the locations of each family member. Luckily, we know where to find the family matron, Perennia. Travel to Applewatch, located west of Bruma, and enter the farmhouse there. Speak with Perennia there and tell her you’re looking for her children.
She’ll assume you are the delivery person she hired to deliver gifts to her children and give you a list of where you can find them. Before heading out, make sure to take out Perennia.
Andreas
You’ll need to travel to the Drunken Dragon Inn to find Andreas. It’s located in the Nibebay Valley, southeast of Bravil. After you arrive, head inside to see Andreas working behind the bar.
If you wish, you can converse with him before killing him. There may be a guard wandering around that you’ll need to look out for. If you tell him about how his mom died, he’ll turn on you so that you won’t get a bounty.
Caelia
Travel to Leyawiin in the southern part of Cyrodill, south of the Imperial City, to find Caelia. She can be found wandering around the town as she performs her duties as a city watch member. This means that attacking her will put a bounty on your head, and any nearby watchmen will come to her defense.
Matthias
Matthias can be found in the Talos Plaza District of the Imperial City. The easiest way to kill him would be to travel to the Imperial City Talos Plaza District fast travel point at midnight. After you load in, take a right and look at the doors on the left. One of those will be the door to Matthias Draconis’ House.
You can gain access by picking the hard lock, which will allow you to take him out. You’ll need to be quick so he can’t call the guard. He also has Collatinus Vedius staying with him, so keep that in mind.
Sibylla
You can find Sibylla in Muck Valley Cavern, east of the Imperial City and south of the Blue Road. When you arrive, head inside and work your way to the depths of the cave, fighting off the wolves and rats to reach her. She will attack you on sight, so be prepared for a fight as you approach.
Claim Your Reward
Once you’ve taken out every member of the Draconis family, travel to Castle Skingrad along the Gold Road, southwest of the Imperial City. You’ll see a well right in front of you on the castle grounds when you load in.
Interact with it to receive your 500 gold and the Dead Drop Orders #3, completing the quest.
