How to Start the Affairs of a Wizard Quest
You’ll begin the Affairs of a Wizard quest in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered after completing the Dead Drop Dark Brotherhood quest.
Affairs of a Wizard Quest Walkthrough
This contract will task you with taking out a Necromancer who is in the process of transforming himself into a lich. It’s up to us to stop this before he becomes too powerful!
Track Down the Wizard
Before heading to confront the wizard, make sure to bring a silver weapon to deal with the ghosts! Set out for Leafrot Cave, located in the southeastern corner of Cyrodiil, east of Bravil near Panther River.
When you arrive, enter the cave. You’ll need to take care of a ghost right off the bat. Once it’s defeated, look to the left to find a table. Read the Path of Transcendence on it to learn that you’ll need to steal an hourglass from the wizard to defeat.
Next, locate the door leading to the Leafrot Hollow and head through it.
Take Out the Target
In the next area, Celedaen can be found walking around the cave system. You’ll need to sneak up behind him and pickpocket the Sands of Resolve off him. With that gone, you’ll be free to take out the wizard.
Claim Your Reward
To receive your reward for a job well done, travel to Chorrol City – North Gate. You’ll then want to locate the giant tree there, where you’ll find a sack in the bushes.
Loot the sack to receive 500 gold and the Dead Drop Orders #2 letter, completing the quest.
