How to Start the When the Vow Breaks Quest
To begin the When the Vow Breaks quest in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, speak with Maeva the Buxom at Whitmon Farm, which is just north of Anvil, about her husband.
When the Vow Breaks Walkthrough
Retrieve Rockshatter
Travel to Fort Strand, which is directly east of Anvil, and head inside. Work your way down to the “Old Wooden Door to Fort Strand Great Dome”. Inside, you’ll find a Marauder, Marauder Warlord, and scummy hubby Bjalfi the Contemptible. Make sure to loot Rockshatter from where he falls!
Deliver Rockshatter
Travel back to Maeva to tell her of her husband’s fate and deliver the weapon. The “When the Vow Breaks” quest will end, and you’ll receive 270 gold as a reward.
