How to Start The Unfortunate Shopkeeper Quest
To begin The Unfortunate Shopkeeper quest in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, speak with Azzan in the Anvil Fighters Guild after completing the A Rat Problem quest and ask him about “Contracts”.
The Unfortunate Shopkeeper Walkthrough
Speak with Norbert Lelles
Travel to Lelles’ Quality Mercandise at the Anvil Docks. Once there, head inside and speak with Norbert about the break-ins.
Catch the Thieves
Stay inside Norbert’s store and wait until 11 pm to catch the crooks in the act! Upon seeing you, Storn the Burly, Aenvir, and Dranas Lerano will turn hostile and attack, so you’ll need to defeat them.
Report to Norbert
After eliminating the thieves, head next door to The Flowing Bowl and speak with Norbert inside to tell him of the break-in. The Unfortunate Shopkeeper quest will end, and you’ll receive 300 gold!
