In this walkthrough, we’ll show you where to find the wandering Samurai Daishos within the castle grounds, how to locate the keys needed to unlock secured doors, and the exact spot of the legendary chest hidden within Katano Castle.

Amagasaki Castle Guide
Amagasaki Castle is one of the enemy strongholds that can be found in the Izumi Settus region of Assassin’s Creed Shadows. To loot the legendary chest in the castle, you’ll first need to defeat the five Samurai Daisho that have taken up residence in the castle. Additionally, there is a key you’ll want to collect that will allow you to access some additional resources.
Samurai Daisho
The first Samurai Daisho is in the outer wall section of the castle, in the northwestern part. There is a nice spot in the bushes next to the well where you can hide to pick him off. You can also hide in the well!
Our second Samurai Daisho is also in the outer wall section of the castle, but this time in the northeastern part. He will patrol around that area, so you’ll want to try and take out the guards sanding watching in part of it so that you can take him on solo the next time he comes around.
For our next Daisho target, we get a twofer. The pair can be found in the central area of the castle on the west-central side. They will be conversing with some fellow soldiers.
Samurai Daisho number five can be found in the northwestern section of the inner castle. He’s standing under a building, so you have the perfect opportunity to assassinate him from above.
Legendary Chest
To reach the legendary chest, you’ll want to enter the building on the northeastern part of the castle’s inner section. After you get inside, head up to the top floor, where you’ll then need to climb into the attic to find the chest.
Opening it will get you the legendary headgear, Tools Master Mask, along with the Unbreakable Shuriken engraving.
