In this walkthrough, we’ll show you where to find the wandering Samurai Daishos within the castle grounds, how to locate the keys needed to unlock secured doors, and the exact spot of the legendary chest hidden within Katano Castle.

Takatsuki Castle Guide
Takatsuki Castle is one of the enemy strongholds that can be found in the Izumi Settus region of Assassin’s Creed Shadows. To loot the legendary chest in the castle, you’ll first need to defeat the three Samurai Daiyos that have taken up residence in the castle.
Samurai Daishos
The first Daisho can be found in the southeastern corner of the castle grounds. Keep an eye out for additional enemies that may be wandering around before you engage with this Daisho.
You can find the second Samura Daisho walking around on the northeast side of the castle, near the building with the synchronization point on top of it.
Our final Samurai Daisho can be found in the western part of the castle area. There will be a couple of other enemies nearby that may join him in the fight, depending on where you are when you engage him.
Legendary Chest
This castle’s legendary chest can be found in the tallest building at the northeastern corner of the castle, in the same building as the synchronization point. Once you enter the building, work your way up to the upper floors to find it. You’ll receive the Peasant Hat legendary headgear and the Adrenaline when Entering Combat engraving from it.
