In this walkthrough, we’ll show you where to find the wandering Samurai Daishos within the castle grounds, how to locate the keys needed to unlock secured doors, and the exact spot of the legendary chest hidden within Katano Castle.

Osaka Castle Guide
Osaka Castle is one of the enemy strongholds that can be found in the Izumi Settus region of Assassin’s Creed Shadows. To loot the legendary chest in the castle, you’ll first need to defeat the two Samurai Daishos that have taken up residence in the castle. Additionally, there is a key you’ll want to collect that will allow you to access some additional resources.
Kura Key
You receive the Osaka Castle Kura Key, and you’ll need to build on the northeastern side of the castle, just north of the syncornize point. Inside will be an enemy you’ll need to take out. Upon doing so, you’ll receive the key.
Samurai Daisho
The first Daisho can be found along a path in the southwestern part of the castle. He’ll either be standing next to a banner there or walking back and forth along the path.
The second Daisho can be found slightly southeast of the Osaka Castle words on the map. He’ll be walking around in an area filled with scaffolding and lots of wood.
Legendary Chest
You can find the legendary chest by entering the tall building in the northwest part of the castle, with the synchronization point on the top. The chest itself is located on the upper floor of the building. You’ll receive the legendary light armor, Peasant Clothes, and the Assassination with Attack engraving.
