How to Start the Brotherly Love Affinity Mission
In Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition, affinity and main story missions are unique in that you can only undertake one at a time. If you begin an affinity mission, you won’t be able to start a main story mission, and vice versa. Furthermore, you can only have one affinity or story mission active at any given time.
The Brotherly Love affinity mission in Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition can be found in NLA’s Administrative District. The recommended level for this mission is 46 and the required level is 46. To begin this mission, you must complete Chapter 11. The primary destination is Sylvalum. The required affinity with Frye and Phog is Rank 4.
Brotherly Love Overview
There have been reports of a new kind of resource in Sylvalum. Go on a joint mission with the Prospectors and Interceptors and see what’s what.
Objectives:
- Investigate the resources near Sylvalum’s Badr Stonebridge
- Investigate the resources near Sylvalum’s Anvil Rock One
- Investigate the resources near Sylvalum’s North Cinderdunes
- Investigate the resources near Sylvalum’s South Hardheart Canyon
- Talk to Walter on Division Drive in the administrative district
Brotherly Love Walkthrough
Travel to the objective just north of Badr Stonebridge in Sylvalum. Once there, you’ll need to take out the Level 47 Candelario, the Bronze, unique enemy then grab the Mysterious Substance.
Next, you must interact with the Mysterious Substance at the Anvil Sandplain, North Cinderdunes, and South Hardheart Canyon. After interacting the the substance each time, a cutscene will trigger.
After interacting with all the samples, speak with Walter in the Administrative District on Division Drive. The Brotherly Love mission will then end.
