How to Start the Rescue at the Ensconced Citadel Mission
To begin the Rescue at the Ensconced Citadel mission in Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition, speak with Julius in the Administrative District. This quest becomes available after completing Chapter 6, and the recommended level for this mission is 27.
Rescue at the Ensconced Citadel Walkthrough
A strange SOS signal has been received from Noctilum that may be coming from a new alien race. Go there and investigate.
Find the source of the SOS signal near Noctilum’s Suncatch Ravine
Travel to the Suncatch Ravine west of FN Site 211. At the objective, a cutscene will trigger. Following the cutscene, you’ll be attacked by two waves of Level 24 & 25 Marnuck enemies.
Talk to Julius
Make your way over to the Administrative District and speak with Julius. The Rescue at the Ensconced Citadel mission will then end.

As a reward for completing the Rescue at the Ensconced Citadel mission, you’ll receive the following:
