How to Start the Two Peas in a Pod Affinity Mission
In Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition, affinity and main story missions are unique in that you can only undertake one at a time. If you begin an affinity mission, you won’t be able to start a main story mission, and vice versa. Furthermore, you can only have one affinity or story mission active at any given time.
The Two Peas in a Pod affinity mission in Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition can be found in NLA’s BLADE Barracks. The recommended level for this mission is 47 and the required level is 47. To begin this mission, you must complete Chapter 11. The primary destination is NLA. The required affinity with Lin is Rank 3.
Two Peas in a Pod Overview
Vandham wants to discuss the development of a new weapon with you.
Objectives:
- Head to the Outfitters test hangar in the industrial district
- Talk to Alan at the Outfitters test hangar
- Get three Qmoevan capacitors from Qmoevas in Oblivia, etc.
- Talk to Alan at the Outfitters test hangar in the industrial district
- Talk to Brenna at the Outfitters test hangar in the industrial district
- Use FrontierNav to locate three pieces of marine rutile
- Talk to Brenna at the Outfitters test hangar in the industrial district
- Report to Vandham inside the BLADE Barracks in the administrative district
Two Peas in a Pod Walkthrough
At the start of the mission, travel to the Outfitters Test Hangar in the Industrial District. Once there, approach the objective to trigger a cutscene.
When it ends, speak with Alan in the Outfitters Test Hangar. He’ll then want you to get three Qmoevan Capacitors from Qmoevans. You can find these creatures at the Starfall Basin in Primoria.
After you’ve acquired the materials, return to Alan in the Outfitters Test Hangar. Next, speak with Brenna to see if she has any ideas.
You’ll then need to put probes at the following FN Sites to get Marine Rutile:
- FN Site 401
- FN Site 414
- FN Site 418
- FN Site 504
- FN Site 508
After you’ve collected the materials, return to Brenna and speak with her again. Once the cutscene ends, speak with Vandham in the barracks. The Two Peas in a Pod mission will end.
