How to Start the Thou Art But Dust… Quest
To begin the Thou Art But Dust… side quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance II, speak with Brother Morticus at the Sedletz Monastery during The Reliquary task.
Thou Art But Dust… Walkthrough
Morticus, an old and blind caretaker of the Sedletz ossuary, asked you to tidy up the long-neglected local chapel.
Collect and arrange the bones into three piles
Head into the nearby building and go down to the basement. You’ll find a bunch of bones just scattered everywhere. Interact with the prompt to pick them up.
After collecting all the bones on this level, interact with the trapped door on the floor to fall down.
You’ll find some more bones down there to clean up. While you’re down there, open the tomb to find that Valentine’s sword isn’t there. Interact with the lid and Henry will comment on the sword and suggest he can forge one.
To leave the crypt, head to the room with the preserved body. Head south in this room to find the way out. Return to the basement and stack all the bones on the three piles.
Find Brother Morticius
When you head outside, Morticius will have disappeared. Speak with the gravedigger to inquire about Morticius. After you learn the truth, the Thou Art But Dust side quest will end.
