How to Start the Mater Mare Bounty
To begin the Mater Mare Bounty in Avowed, interact with the bounty board in Solace Keep next to Bounty Master Sulwin.
Mater Mare Bounty Walkthrough
Kill Mater Mare
To find Mater Mare, destroy a plant with fire blocking a tunnel on the western side of the Writhing Ruins. Slide on down to reach a cavern with Mater Mare. During the fight, Mater Mare will summon additional beetles. Take them all out!
Collect a Trophy
After the battle, loot the Matriarch’s Horn.
Claim the Bounty
Travel to the bounty board in Solace Keep and speak with Bounty Master Sulwin to complete the quest. As a reward, you’ll receive 1,800 gold.
