Welcome to NGB and our Kingdom Come Deliverance II walkthrough for The Sword and the Quill quest! This guide will cover everything you need to know to easily complete this quest, including how to start the mission and the steps you will need to take to finish it.

How to Start The Sword and the Quill Quest
The Sword and the Quill main quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance II will automatically begin after completing the Storm.
The Sword and the Quill Walkthrough
Follow Zizka and Katherine
Follow Zizka and Katherine, speaking with them, until you reach Suchdol.
Talk to Lord Pisek in the banquet hall
Follow the group into the banquet hall and speak with Peter of Pisek.
Have a bath before going to bed (optional)
Exit the room and head to the ground level. Head inside and speak with Maid Zuzana, who is cleaning the bathtub.
Go and get some sleep
Head back into the castle and go through the door opposite the banquet hall. Through the doorway, take a left, then go through the door in the back corner of the room. This will take you to the stairs. Take them up then enter the door on the left to find your room. Hop in the bed and go to sleep!
Find Zizka
On your way to find Zizka, speak with Katherine by the combat arena, then duel Pullock. Afterward, approach Katherine to receive a Decorated field crossbow.
You’ll find Zizka in the northwest corner of the courtyard with the combat arena. Speak with him as he’s getting all fixed up.
Go to the banquet hall for the audience
Head into the banquet hall and speak with the Margrave. After the cutscene, The Sword and the Quill main quest will end and the Speak of the Devil quest begins.
