To acquire the Mintha perfume, you can either purchase it from Apothecary Emerich in Troskowitz or craft it! If you choose to craft it, please check out our Potion Crafting Guide to learn how to make it!

Find a companion at the Zhelejov bathhouse

Find a companion at the Zhelejov bathhouse

To find a companion, travel to the bathhouse at the Zhelejob Wagoners’ Inn and speak with Dorothy about Kreyzl’s offer. She won’t let any of her girls go due to the Chamberlain’s tastes.

Find Enneleyn in the Nomads’ Camp

Travel to the southern side of the Nomad’s Camp and speak with Enneleyn who will agree if you produce wine for her.

Find Enneleyn in the Nomads' Camp

To purchase the wine, head north through the camp and purchase it from Mordecai Haim.

Return to Enneleyn and deliver all the items to her.

Go over Kryzl’s plan with Enneleyn

If you’re going to choose to get into the wedding with the Miller’s help, speak with Enneleyn and tell her that you’re ready to go.

This objective will remain active throughout the rest of the Wedding Crashers main quest no matter if you chose to go to the party with the Blacksmith or the Miller. The objective will update once the Wedding Crashers main quest completes! You’ll receive the next objective during the For Whom the Bell Toll main quest.

Check with the scribe for clues about the book

If you do this quest during the Demons of Trosky task, you’ll have access to most places in the castle, which will make this quest easier!

From Henry’s room, head up the stairs to the northwest and keep heading up. Just past the stairs carved into the rock, you’ll find the scribe’s room through the door on the left. He’ll most likely be in here, but depending on the day, he might be elsewhere.

Once you’ve located the scribe, speak with him and exhaust his dialog options.

Find Nikvard

Ask the cook what she knows about Nikvard (optional)

From the scribe’s room, head downstairs to the kitchen and ask Cook Bertha about Nikvard. You can bribe her to learn what the medicine was for.

Find out what the maid knows about Nikvard (optional)

In the room across from Lord von Bergow, you’ll find Maid Regina. Speak with her to ask about Nikvard and the book. Read the letter for her!

Find out what the stableboy knows about Nikvard (optional)

You’ll find a lone house on the northern side of the castle grounds. Behind this house, speak with Hired Hand Hersh to inquire about Nikvard. He’ll want us to prove we’re not a spy by giving him a sword. Specifically, he’ll want a longsword. Purchase, craft, or steal one!

After you hand one over, he’ll tell you what he knows.

Find Nikvard

Now that you’ve spoken with everyone to glean as much information as you can about Nikvard, you’ll need to set out to find him. Exit the castle and walk around the outer wall to find him on the cliffs on the western side near a poop shoot.

Find the book for the Miller

Pick up the Lightbringer’s Secret on the ground near Nikvard. It will be next to a skull.

Bring the book to the miller

Travel to the Miller Kreyzl at Lower Semine Mill and hand the book over.

Go to the Lair

Head southwest of Lower Semine Mill to the Lair to trigger a cutscene. Afterward, the Opus Magnum quest will complete. As a reward, you’ll receive a Recipe for Lead Shot Gunpowder.
