Welcome to NGB and our Kingdom Come Deliverance II walkthrough for The Jaunt quest! This guide will cover everything you need to know to easily complete this quest, including how to start the mission and the steps you will need to take to finish it.

How to Start The Jaunt Quest
To begin The Jaunt side quest, speak with Blacksmith Radovan after completing The Blacksmith’s Son quest.
The Jaunt Walkthrough
Head to Semine
Travel to Semine and a cutscene will trigger near the tavern.
Defeat Jurko in a fight
The conversation will quickly turn hostile. Beat up the jerk to continue with the cutscene!
Meet Gnarly and Lord Semine in the courtyard
Follow Gnarly downstairs and out to the courtyard. Speak with Sir Jan Semine near the horse and tell him that you’re ready to go.
Follow Lord Semine and Gnarly
Hop on your horse and follow behind Lord Semine and Gnarly. On your trip, Lord Semine will challenge you.
If you accept, you’ll stop off on the side of the road at an abandoned pig pen. Speak with Gnarly who will explain the rules and ask for your weapon of choice. You’ll lose rep if you say the quill is mightier than the sword! Hop in the ring and duel Semine. After your duel, speak with Gnarly. If you win, he’ll let you keep the cudgel (club) and his shield.
Afterward, continue following behind the pair until a cutscene triggers.
Talk to the bailiff
Enter the Rathaus and speak with Bailiff Thrush in the first room on the left. Exhaust his dialog options then return to Lord Semine and tell him the news.
Follow Lord Semine and Gnarly
Hop back on your horse and follow the duo east. As you approach the crossroads, you’ll need to dismount and follow the path to the cemetery. You’ll find a sack of charcoal on the road past the gate to the cemetery.
Return to Semine and told him what you’ve found. Hop on your horse then continue following behind Semine and Gnarly.
When it’s time to investigate, you’ll find another sack of charcoal by a small path leading into the woods.
Follow that small trail to find a giant rock in front of you. Look to the left of this rock to find a wagon!
After alerting the group to the wagon, follow behind the pair again.
Get closer to the camp
Eventually, you’ll hear voices and everyone will stop. Speak with the pair then scout the camp. As you near the camp, press L1 to investigate when prompted. Afterward, return to Semine and Gnarly.
Attack the patrol
Come up with whatever plan you wish to execute when attacking the patrol. Afterward, speak with Gnarly when you’re ready to go.

After the negotiation efforts fail, you’ll need to join in the battle and eliminate the thieves.
Catch the hired hand
Unfortunately, one will get away. Chase him south. You’ll find him amongst the giant rocks. When you catch him, try and convince him to stand down. Otherwise, you’ll need to beat him up!
Afterward, speak with Semine and you’ll receive 80 groschen.
Report to the blacksmith
If you accept the ride, you’ll find yourself in a wagon with Franzi, Ventza and Gules. You’ll get to listen to their banter until you reach Troskowitz. Hop off then travel to Blacksmith Radovan and tell him what happened. As a reward, you’ll receive a Rusted plate. The Jaunt side quest will complete and The Hermit will begin!
