Welcome to NGB and our Kingdom Come Deliverance II walkthrough for the Forbidden Fruit quest! This guide will cover everything you need to know to easily complete this quest, including how to start the mission and the steps you will need to take to finish it.

How to Start the Forbidden Fruit Quest
To begin the Forbidden Fruit side quest, speak with Miller Kreyzl after completing the Materia Prima side quest.
Forbidden Fruit Walkthrough
Talk to Bonnie
Travel to the Lair southeast of the Lower Semine Mill to find Bonnie sitting on a log. You’ll need to bring her some herbs (it doesn’t matter which ones)!
Visit the gravedigger
Travel east of Troskowitz to find the gravedigger in the cemetery along the main road. You’ll need to bring him some meat (any kind). Stop in at the butcher in Troskowitz first if you didn’t want to hunt.
Tell him that you need to find a saltpetre pit. You can either pay him with meat to avoid the work or help him.
Accompany the gravedigger on his rounds
If you’ve decided to help him perform his work, wait until 5 then speak with him again. You’ll then need to follow Ignatius to the wagon. Hop up next to him to bring your trek.
Find the carcass in the ruined farm
When prompted, hop off and head east of the wagon into the woods to find the ruins of a house. Enter through the back window then collect the deer. Exit through the door and return to the wagon. Place the deer in the back then speak with the people harassing Ignatius. Persuade them to leave you alone then speak with Ignatius. Hop back up on the wagon to continue the rounds.
Find source of infection & clear pig carcasses
At the next stop, you’ll need to find the source of the infection and clear the carcasses from the farm. First, head northwest into the woods to find the water.
Follow the river northeast to find some deer carcasses in the stream. Return to Ignatius to report on what you found.
After you speak with him, you’ll retrieve the deer carcasses automatically and will just need to bag and take the two pig carcasses from the stables to the wagon.
Kill the dog
When you’re done, speak with Ignatius then hop back on the wagon to continue. For the next task, he’ll want you to kill a dog.
If you refuse, he’ll be pissed and you’ll lose rep. He’ll still want you to poison it and give you the ingredients to do so.
When finished speaking with him, head to the shed marked by the objective to find that the dog is missing. Head northeast towards the barking to find it with Bonnie.
She’ll take the dog to the Lair so you don’t have to kill it!
Once you’ve made your decision about the fate of the dog, return to Ignatius and a cutscene will trigger. As a reward, you’ll receive the Knacker’s gloves.
Find the saltpetre pit and taste it to see if there’s actually saltpetre in it
Hop in the pit and taste it on the wall using the prompt.
Return to the miller
Travel back to Miller Kreyzl at the Lower Semine Mill to tell him that you’ve found the pit. As a reward, you’ll receive 85 groschen and As Quiet as a Cat II. You’ll also improve vitality and stealth. The Forbidden Fruit quest will complete and the Opus Magnum quest will begin.
