How to Start the Frogs Quest
To begin the Frogs side quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance II, speak with Old Olbram in Zhelejov. If you started the Mice quest first, when speaking to Old Olbram, he’ll be mad about the stunt you pulled. You can remedy this by offering to pull a prank on the other side to make it even. Going that route will also start this quest.
Frogs Walkthrough
Before Doing Anything
Travel to Tachov, where the maypole can be found. Before stealing it, make sure to speak with Innkeeper Prochek at the Tachov Inn. You’ll have two options and will need to decide who you want to side with… Olbram or Prochek!
Siding with Prochek
If you tell Innkeeper Prochek that Olbram wants to play a trick on him, he’ll give you 25 groschen. The Frogs side quest will then fail. Prochek will in turn want you to play some tricks on Olbram and the Mice side quest will begin.
Siding with Olbram
Ask Innkeeper Prochek about the maypole and pass the skill check. He’ll also request Henry kick Henik’s arse, giving him some tips on how to rile Henik up. You’ll want to do this if you plan on stealing the maypole. See the objectives below to continue with this quest!
Kick Henik’s Arse (Optional)
You’ll need to wait for the afternoon (15) before Henik leaves his house. Once he’s done so, speak with him, choosing the “What about your brothers?”, “Where did they go?”, “Why did they leave?” and “So when will you run off?”. This will cause him to get mad, leading to a fight.
Make sure to win, as beating him up will leave the maypole unguarded this night. You’ll also want to ensure you have an axe on you. You’ll need it to cut the maypole down. You can purchase one from the Blacksmith Radovan for around 100 groschen if you don’t have one.
Steal the maypole from Tachov
Now that Heniks has been dealt with, wait for night to fall (21/22), then head over to the maypole. Interact with it and choose to steal the maypole. This will cause Henry to scale the pole and chop it off from the top using whatever axe you have. He’ll then climb back down. Make sure to loot the maypole from the ground.
Bring the Maypole to Olbram
Head back to Zhelejov and speak with Old Olbram to hand over the maypole. He’ll reward you with 45 Groschen for a job well done. You’ll receive an additional 25 Groschen for beating up Henik. Olbram will ask Henry if he wants to help with one more trick. Agree to help to continue the quest; otherwise, it will end here.
Give Alshik the Digestive Potion
Travel back to Tachov and wait until 8 am. If you head through the bottom floor of the tavern and stare at the pot, exit through the left door to leave the tavern. Immediately outside, take a right to spot a bowl between the bench and stacked wood. Use the prompt to pour the laxative into the snack bowl.
Soil Tachov Lot’s Laundry (4)
Wait until the afternoon to find some sheep grazing in the pasture. Run behind the group of sheep in the pasture and lead one to the laundry drying on the hill. You’ll need to have it walk over four pieces of clothes. If you are seen doing this, you’ll lose rep.
Chase the Sheep Out of the Pasture (6)
Get behind the sheep and chase six into the woods. You can do it one at a time.
Tell Olbram about the scattered cattle
Travel back to Olbram for your reward. You’ll receive 130 groschen! Also, make sure not to accept his next quest, the Battle of the Frogs and Mice, if you haven’t completed the Mice quest. Make sure to do that one first.
