Collectibles
There are 10 The Dark Woods Collectibles.
The Origin of Banishers
This collectible can be found on a table in the cave where Seeker was caring for Red.
Blaming the Living
This collectible can be found at a campsite west of the Waterfall Cave.
To Bring Closure
Loot this collectible from a bag behind the house the bonewalker came out of near the Hunters’ Camp.
What is a Ghost Made of?
You’ll find this collectible on the floor by the window in your shelter at Hunters’ Camp.
There is Kindness in Banishing a Spirit
This collectible can be found west of Hunters’ Camp after using Antea to clear the corpse.
Voices in the Mist
This can be found on a corpse in the water under the bridge just south of Jacob’s Lean-To Shelter.
Locked Chests
There are 5 The Dark Woods locked chests.
Occultist’s Equipment
This chest can be found in the Waterfall Cave where you’ll find your first shelter. Open the chest to receive the Spiritual Necklace.
Trapper Reserves
This locked chest can be found on an upper balcony in the Hunters’ Camp.
You’ll find the key on the table in your shelter at Hunters’ Camp.
Inside the chest you’ll find Aureola, a brooch.
Abandoned Belongings
This chest can be found in a cabin northeast of Kate’s Bivouac. To find the key, head southwest from the cabin down the path leading to the broken bridge.
You’ll find it on the corpse sitting in front of the post.
Open the chest to receive the Gunner Battlegear.
Cursed Chests
There are 5 cursed chests in The Dark Woods.
Cursed Chest #1
This cursed chest can be found next to a cabin northeast of the Hunters’ Camp. Once you have all the Lumberjacks, approach the cursed chest and perform the Unbounding Ritual. The chest will then unlock! Take the Soldier of Fortune bane ring from it. After looting the chest, you’ll be attacked by the Feargod Waterbury.
The Lumberjacks
This Lumberjack can be found behind a crate in the cabin. The second Lumberjack can be found inside a stump near the chest. The last Lumberjack can be found behind the house next to a tree.
Lost Chest
3 Lost Chests can be found in The Dark Woods.
Lost Chest #1
This Lost Chest can be found in the house the bonewalker comes out of near the Hunters’ Camp. Inside it, you’ll find the Wristband of Harmony.
Lost Chest #2
This chest can be found northeast of the Hunters’ Camp. Inside, you’ll find the Fuil Fhuar ring.
Lost Chest #3
You can find this Lost Chest in the Waterfall Shelter. Open it to find the Second Wind weapon.
Nests
4 nests can be found in The Dark Woods. When you’ve located one of the below nests, perform the Make-Manifest Ritual to cause a bunch of enemies to spawn. Take them out to complete the nest!
Nest #1
This nest can be found southeast of the Hunters’ Camp.
Nest #2
This nest can be found northeast of the Hunters’ Camp.
Elites
There are 3 Elites found in The Dark Woods. When you’ve located one of the below Elites, perform the Make-Manifest Ritual to cause an enemy to spawn. Take them out to complete the Elite.
Elite #1
The Vindictave Trapper Elite can be found northeast of the Hunters’ Camp.
Elite #2
The Level 14 Shot Deserter Elite can be found just south of the Waterfall Shelter.
Elite #3
This Level 9 Tenacious Huntsman Elite can be found south of Kate’s Bivouac.
Scourges
4 Scourges can be found in The Dark Woods. They will unlock after completing The Beast haunting case. When you reach the ritual site, you’ll need to perform a Summon Scourge Ritual. As a reward for beating them, you’ll receive a +1 power increase to all attributes.
Scourge #1
This scourge site can be found northeast of Red’s Sickbed. Defeat the Level 21 Marooned Rage.
Scourge #2
This scourge site can be found northeast of the High Cave Shelter. You’ll need to have learned the Outburst power to reach this area. Defeat the Level 10 Trapped Rage.
Altars
There are 5 Altars in The Dark Woods.
Altar of the Incarnate
This altar can be found northwest of the Hunters’ Camp. After you activate this altar, you’ll receive 10 Health Points.
Altar of the Invisible
This altar can be found east of Kate’s Bivouac. After you activate this altar, you’ll receive 10 Spirit Points.
Soul Grabber
There are 38 Soul Grabbers found throughout The Dark Woods. When you find one, you’ll need to shoot it with your musket to collect it.
