You’ll come to the Tower of Insolence as part of the Proof of Power side quest.

The Tower of Insolence has 8 floors, all with similar layouts.

Gold Beetle
You can find the gold beetle on the 2nd floor of the tower along the railing on the northeastern side.
Tower of Insolence Walkthrough
The Tower of Insolence is a tower with 8 floors of enemies you’ll need to fight through to reach the boss at the top. Floors 4 and 6 are kind of like mini-boss floors occupied by a large number of giants.
Floor 4
On the 4th floor, you’ll come to a room filled with multiple giants. Two of them, the Psyocropos, are Level 50. They will always use soul screams to gain extra turn icons, combined with charge and physical attacks, to try to overwhelm the party.
Floor 6
Like the 4th floor, Floor 6 has even more giant enemies you’ll have to get past.
Floor 8 – Boss Fight (Ziocropos)
The boss of this dungeon is the Level 58 Ziocropos, which is weak to both piercing and wind attacks but drains electric attacks. It will cast Soul Cry during its first turn, gaining two additional actions. It will then summon another Ziocropos, removing all of your buffs.
From that point, the two will use physical attacks and skills to buff those attacks.
Once they fall, you’ll receive the Bramblethron Baton.
