How to Start The Right to Rule
The Right to Rule quest will be started automatically once you reach a bond level of Rank 5 with Bardon. During this, you’ll need to face and defeat the great human sandworm you got eaten by while pursuing Heismay.
The Right to Rule Guide
Prepare!
Make sure to prepare before going to face the sandworm. You’ll want to have a couple of characters that can use ice attacks, which is the weakness of the sandworm.
When you’re ready to fight the sandworm, speak with Bardon near the town entrance in Thoroughfare Square, choosing “Let’s Go” when prompted to trigger a cutscene.
Boss Fight – Greatworm Homo Butera
Once the cutscene ends, you’ll be thrown into a fight with the Greatworm Homo Butera. It will be level 60 and is weak to Ice. The monster uses the Feral Bite attack, which targets a single party member, along with Sandstorm and Swiping Arc, which can hit everyone.
Once the human’s health starts to get low, it will begin using the Ground Borrow skill, where it dives underground for one of your turns, preventing you from damaging it. It will then shoot out of the ground on its next turn, damaging the whole party. The sandworm will then get another action after that attack. You can guard to minimize the damage or cast some buffs to beef up your defenses.
Rewards
Once the human goes down, you’ll be treated to a cutscene leading to the completion of the quest. You’ll then be rewarded with four points in the Courage Royal Attribute. Bardon will also reach Rank 7.
